My review for Kids Who Kill #6: Austin Sigg by Kathryn McMaster, 5/5 stars. It also earns a Pink Quill Book Pick badge (click here for more information.)
This must have been a difficult book to research and write, but McMaster has done it in her usual brilliant style, sticking to the facts and letting the reader experience the horror of the crime without any frills.
I have read all the books in this series, and I must admit, this one has affected me the most. The fact that such a horrendous crime was committed by a seventeen-year-old boy is terrifying, and leaves you thinking about it long after you’ve finished reading. If only this was fiction.
I commend the author on this interesting, albeit at times shocking, series, which will appeal to lovers of true crime. Highly recommend.
