My review for Maple Trees and Maybes by Kristina Beck, 5/5 stars. It also earns a Pink Quill Book Pick badge (click here for more information.)
I’ve loved reading all the books in the Four Seasons series, all the characters have special stories to tell. Daisy has a painful past she doesn’t like talking about, while Josh has never been able to find the right woman to settle down with. They’re two complete opposites, who are strangely attracted to each other.
I love the relationship between these two – Daisy is in no rush to make things serious, while Josh is forced to take things slowly thanks to a bet with his brother. There are some hilarious scenes, lots of banter, and some more serious moments that are very touching.
Beck has created a series of wonderful stories that all interweave together, even though they can also be read as standalones. I hope there will be more in the future, as I’d love to know what happens next! Contemporary romance at its finest, well written, with characters you come to love and the most gorgeous covers, this is a series I highly recommend.
